Ihr habt recht, Probleme muss man erkennen. Aber ich habe keine Ahnung wie viele Probleme in der Zukunft noch auf der Lauer liegen und wie viele Probleme sich erst noch zu erkennen geben….Thomas Alwin Müller
Popular German Cartoonist, Thomas Alwin Mueller, Utilizes Cartoon Therapy to Help Those Suffering from Mental and Systemic Illnesses
In 2000, the world was treated to a truly delightful new cartoon entitled MOPF from the beloved German cartoonish Thomas Alwin Mueller. MOPF has quickly become an important cartoon not only to kids and adults who adore the cute, cheerful characters, but also to the thousands of people who suffer from chronic ailments like multiple sclerosis and mental illness. Mueller himself was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis just prior to starting MOPF and has used his art as a powerful and effective therapy.
Mueller has labeled his art as “cartoon therapy” and has promoted art creation and enjoyment as a means of remediating many of the most debilitating symptoms of systemic illnesses like depression, isolation and hopelessness. Using his cartoon to raise the spirits of people suffering from chronic illness and entering the final stages of life has helped Mueller deal positively with his own health issues. MOPF has also become a vehicle for raising awareness of these common illnesses and inspiring support for medical research.
While MOPF has grown in popularity, it still has not received the global attention that it deserves. In an effort to help MOPF secure the distribution and promotion it requires, Thomas Alwin Mueller has sponsored a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. With these funds, Mueller can properly market MOPF to traditional and online distribution channels, and reach millions of people who are suffering from chronic illnesses. In return for your support of this important project, Thomas Mueller will send you a personally signed postcard with images he designed. To learn more about MOPF or to make a financial pledge,
